Reach for the sky.
We're underway on the design and installation of a specialist method of Lightning Protection known as Catenary Protection to a building with sensitive contents in Bedfordshire.
The works involve the design and manufacture of four 13m tall steel masts which will support copper cables that will be suspended over the building and offer it the highest level of protection possible.
Mosts Lightning Protection Systems are passive and will conduct any lighnting discharge to ground after the building has been struck, whereas Catenary Protection deals with the problem by preventing the building from seeing the lightning strike in the first place.
